This weekend I had the pleasure of attending my friend Amy Bickel’s wedding. It was a beautiful event and probably one of the best weddings I’ve been to soley because I got to see my friend marry the love of her life. Amy was gorgeous and the decor and food was amazing. It was great seeing Amy and Danny around each other. You could tell, just by looking at them, they were truly in love with each other. I think i first met Amy my sophomore year in high school. We were both in the band and at the time she was the woodwind coordinator. We were standing on the field nearing the end of the season and she turned to me and asked, “Are you going out for leadership next year?” “Yep,” I replied. The next year we worked closely, I was secretary and she was the president. I soon began to learn more about her and we became good friends. Once on a trip to New Orleans we discovered a bed full of goose feathers. Every time I recount that night and how we freaked out over those “voodoo feathers” I cant help cracking up in laughter. Its strange that just 3 days ago she got married! I can be happier for her and Danny. here are some pics I stole from FB of the wedding.

I also got to spend Sunday with my siblings which was much needed. It was a good break from the monotony of school. We baked cookies and played mario kart. Yep, it souns lame but thats when we have the most fun, playing video games. This weekend went by all too quickly and I was reluctant to make the two hour drive back to Orlando. But God’s got some good stuff planned for me here.
I LOVE this Sophie! You are such an amazing friend and I am so blessed to be a part of your life. Nothing can replace the memories we have had together. I can't wait to attend your wedding one day and write about the love you two share. Being married is definitely one of God's greater gift and through Danny I have been able to see just how amazing God's work is. Everyday He teaches me something new about Himself through our relationship and I SO blessed to have a partner like Danny to grow with. You are such an amazing encouragement in my life and I can't wait to see where our friendship takes us next! Love you dearly!Amy Bickel ❤
